Aggressive acids eat through metal, so this 250L corrosive cabinet is made entirely from white polypropylene with no metal fittings inside or out. It is designed to comply with AS3780 and suits sulphuric, hydrochloric and nitric acid among many other corrosives, with a clean finish that sits well in a laboratory.
Features
- 15mm thick gloss white polypropylene walls, floor, roof and doors, with all joins plastic welded
- Two segregated compartments so acids and alkalis are kept apart, each with its own flush-fitting door
- Six shelves in total: a bottom shelf and two adjustable shelves per compartment
- Spring-tensioned hinges close the doors, and the self-latching handle has a key lock and internal release
- 150mm deep liquid-tight sump for spill capture
- Two vent kits supplied loose, with labelling already applied
